BBQ Sirloin Roast
Equipment
- BBQ, Drip Pan
Ingredients
- 3 lb/1.5 kg sirloin roast
- vegetable oil
- salt and pepper
- your favorite bbq sauce
Instructions
- Brush with oil, salt and pepper to taste and your favorite bbq sauce. Grill covered over indirect medium heat for 1½ to 2½ hours for rare to medium.
- To grill over indirect heat on gas grill, set foil drip pan under centre rack of 3 burner bbq. Heat remaining burners to temperature indicated.
- Using a thermometer to test internal temperature of beef roast: Rare – 125 to 130 F, Medium-Rare – 131 to 140 F, Medium -141 to 150 F, Medium-Well – 151 to 155 F and Well Done – 156 to 160 F
- Excellent with potatoes or rice, summer salad or the corn on the cob that I posted.
