Salmon with a Crust
Equipment
- oven dish
Ingredients
- ½ clove of garlic (crushed)
- 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- 2 tbsp panko
- 1 medium egg
- 650 gram salmon fillet
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 F / 200 C. Half the lemon. Grate the yellow peel of the lemon half and cut the other half in slices. Mix the chopped parsley, crushed garlic and lemon zest. Add panko and salt and pepper to taste.
- Split the egg and beat the egg white (not using the yoke) with a whisk. Mix together the egg white and the parsley mix.
- Divide the mix on top of the salmon and bake for 15 to 20 minutes to desired doneness. Serve with the lemon slices.
- Serve with rice, salads, vegetables.
