Simmered Leeks
Equipment
- sauce pan
Ingredients
- 3 leeks
- 2 tbsp butter
- ½ tbsp curry powder
Instructions
- Carefully clean leeks. Cut off the base and the dark green leaves. You end up with the white and light green parts. Dirt can get in between the leaves, so wash them out well.
- Cut into ½ inch rings. Heat the butter add the leeks and curry powder and stir. Turn down the heat to simmer and let it simmer for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally! Serve hot!
