Meatballs with Peach

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gram extra lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup panko or breadcrumbs
  • 5 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • salt to taste
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp clove powder
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • small can of peach slices
  • 50 gram butter
  • ¾ cup beef broth
  • potato flour

Instructions
 

  • Mix the ground beef with the egg ,panko or breadcrumbs, garlic, salt, cayenne pepper, nutmeg, clove powder, cumin and soya sauce. Make 8 medium size meatballs. Drain the peach but save the juice. You will need ¼ cup of the juice.
  • Fry the meatballs in the butter till they are browned. Add the peach and let simmer for a couple minutes. Add the beef broth and the peach juice and let simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Thicken the sauce with some prepared potato flour. (optional)
  • Serve with rice, veggies or a salad!
