Ground Beef Curry
Equipment
- frying pan
Ingredients
- 300 gram lean ground beef
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- ½ tsp grated ginger
- 1 clove of garlic (minced)
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp chili powder or flakes
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1 dl yogurt (thick)
- 200 gram green beans (pieces)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp cilantro or parsley (chopped)
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
- Fry onion in oil for approx. 5 minutes. Add the ground beef and fry the mince, stirring with a spatula to loosen it for 5 minutes. Add the ginger, garlic, cinnamon, chili powder or flakes, curry and yogurt. Stir and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
- In the mean time boil the green beans with salt al dente. Drain and add to the beef mixture. Salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle it with some cilantro or parsley!
- Delicious on a artisan or ciabatta bun!
