Warm Apples with Cinnamon
Equipment
- Baking Tray, Pan, Parchment paper
Ingredients
- 6 patty shells (from frozen)
- 2 apples (pieces)
- 2 tbsp raisins
- 1½ tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F / 200 C. Place the slightly defrosted patty shells on a baking tray and bake for 18 – 20 minutes. Once cooled, remove cut outs tops with a fork and save to use as lids.
- Peel apples and cut in little pieces, mix with the sugar, raisins and cinnamon. Melt the butter add some water, cook apple mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 8 to 10 minutes until apples are tender.
- Reheat oven on 300 F / 180 C. Fill all the shells and put the lid on top and bake for another 5 – 7 minutes.Serve with ice- or whipping cream!
